I was initially uncomfortable to make a list like this as most of these things are “wants” rather than “needs.” But a friend challenged me on this; she told me that you never know what people are willing to give until you ask, you have to give people the chance. I live on minimal money so I do not get a chance to save up for very many things, so below is exactly what it’s called: a wish list!

Old iPhone– A few years ago someone donated me their old iPhone 3, and even though I did not want to become an “iPhone person” it really did make life easier, and communication with those at home less complicated. Unfortunately, since I am the third owner of this phone, its falling apart, and moves very slowly, and no longer connects to the internet. I would love an updated hand me down iPhone if someone happens to have one! (Note: it would need to be one that takes sim cards.)

Hotel vouchers or air miles– Having lived in Bangkok for 5 years now, one of the things I have realized is breaks and getting out of the city is absolutely crucial. I would love to have a weekend break at least 3 times a year but budgeting for that is difficult. I do not usually need to fly or stay at nice hotels to do this, but if you happen to have vouchers or miles which you would like to donate, I would welcome the gift!

iTunes gift cards– Buying music is something I had to give up as I was working out my budget in Thailand. I do miss keeping up on music though!

Books/Kindle Books– I have a working list on Amazon of books I would love to read but have yet to have the budget to buy. You can find that list here: http://amzn.com/w/1IEOUAGQFKU7Q

Student loan donations– Student loans are the only debt I have and I would love to be rid of it. If anyone feels lead to help me make a dent in the burden let me know!

Care packages- Packages are not exactly the cheapest to send to Thailand, but if anyone was feeling generous and wanted to send me some things that are difficult, expensive, or impossible to get in Thailand, here is a list of things I like:

  • Crest pro health toothpaste
  • Peanut butter
  • Reach waxed mint floss
  • Cheeze-Its
  • Sour Patch kids
  • Dark chocolate covered anything
  • Kraft Parmesan Cheese
  • Honey Bunches of Oats (or any cereal really)
  • Dove “Go Fresh” deodorant, pomegranate-lemon scent
  • Pretty much anything from Trader Joe’s
  • Goody bobby pins in brown
  • Gillette Venus Sensitive disposable razors
  • Granola or protein bars

That list could go on for a while, so I’ll just stop there 😉
